CPC Offers More
At Catholic Pacific College, we are constantly seeking for ways to meet the needs of Catholic students at Trinity Western University as well as the surrounding communities. To do this, we look beyond simply offering great academic courses (which they are). We offer ways for students to grow spiritually, to have opportunities to meet other Catholics, and to have opportunities for leadership.

Book Groups
CPC offers two book groups each year - one led by Dr. Andrew Kaethler, and the other by Dr. David Baird.
- Dr. Kaethler's book group meets each Friday at 12pm in his office starting Sept. 20. They are reading and discussing the book "Why Marx Was Right" by Terry Eagleton.
- Dr. Baird's book group meets each Friday at 12:30pm in the library starting Sept. 27. They are reading and discussing the Second Vatican Council documents.

Knights of Columbus
CPC Council 15574 is a growing and active College Council of the Knights of Columbus, whose members come together to grow spiritually and to offer their time and service to the College community.

Catholic Faith Study
Fr. Lawrence will be instructing students on matters of the Catholic faith and guiding them through various provocative/controversial questions that often arise about it. People new to Catholicism will gain a foundational understanding of it, and those familiar with it will deepen their understanding of it. Catholic Faith Study is Tuesdays @ 1-2pm in the CPC Library, starting October 8

Fall Retreat
Among other endeavours, the Fall Retreat plays an important role in providing both new and current Catholic students with a spiritual, restful, and joyful experience that will set the tone for the academic year. The retreat will challenge students spiritually, introduce new students to - and provide opportunities to bond with - current students in the community, and inspire them for the academic year. This new format for the Fall Retreat is “stepping it up” from previous ones that did not provide all of these elements.
This Fall, the retreat will take place at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Shrine in Cache Creek.
