Who is eligible for Redeemer Pacific Financial Aid?
You are eligible for Redeemer Pacific Financial Aid if you are Catholic, enrolled at TWU, taking courses at RPC, and have unmet financial need.
How much financial aid am I eligible for?
You are eligible for Financial Aid based on the number of courses you take per semester at Redeemer Pacific College:
4 Courses or more - $500 per course
3 Courses - $400 per course
2 Courses - $300 per course
1 Course - $200 per course
For example, if you take four courses at RPC in one semester, you are eligible for $2,000 in financial aid; or, if you take three courses in one semester, you are eligible for $1,200 in financial aid. These awards are effective for the Fall 2013 and Spring 2014 semesters.
Redeemer Pacific Financial Aid is stacked on top of your TWU awards, but your total awards cannot exceed the cost of your tuition for that semester. Financial Aid is not available retroactively.
When should I apply for Redeemer Pacific Financial Aid?
You can apply for Redeemer Pacific Financial Aid as soon as you have applied to TWU, even if you have not yet determined the number of RPC courses you wish to take in the coming academic year. You must apply once each academic year to continue receiving financial aid.
When will I be sent my RPC financial awards letter?
You will be sent your letter within 14 days from RPC’s receipt of your application.
When is the deadline for applying for Redeemer Pacific Financial Aid?
The deadline for applying for Financial Aid for any semester is the TWU add/drop deadline date for that semester.
When will I receive my financial aid?
Redeemer Pacific Financial Aid for RPC courses will be paid each semester into your TWU account after the Add/Drop deadline, and prior to the final tuition payment date, for that semester. The office must receive your signed letter back in order to authorize the release of funds.
What if I am an RPC student who has previously received financial aid and will be continuing my studies at RPC?
If you have already been granted a specific award, you will receive your current award or the award listed above, whichever is greater. You must reapply every year to be eligible for financial aid. Please contact Maria at the college office if you are in your second year or greater.
