2012 Fideles Ecumenical Conference

with

Archbishop J. Michael Miller, CSB, on Aquinas and Theology

and

Dr. C. S. Morrissey on Aquinas and Philosophy

Thomas Aquinas, Dominican, Doctor of the Church, medieval Saint, is considered the greatest theologian and philosopher of the Church. How is he still relevant today?

Pope Benedict says Aquinas “made possible an open philosophy that is capable of accepting the biblical phenomenon in all its radicalism. Instead of the dogmatism of a supposedly scientific world picture, the challenge for today is to think further in the direction of such an open philosophy, in order to find once again the presuppositions for understanding the Bible.”

Location is the Northwest Auditorium at Trinity Western University, #28 on the map.

Event sponsored by Redeemer Pacific College.
