Redeemer Pacific College (RPC) is an independent Catholic liberal arts college with a unique partnership with Trinity Western University (TWU), providing students with a solid foundation in Catholic liberal arts as they work towards an undergraduate degree in any one of the 45 undergraduate majors offered by TWU. TWU, Canada's premier Christian liberal arts university, is consistently ranked with an A+ in Quality of Education by The Globe and Mail Canadian University Report. It's why our students have given us the highest ranking in Canada for Enriching Educational Experience as reported in Maclean's magazine. RPC functions in fidelity to the teaching authority of the Catholic Church as we lead our students to grow in knowledge and love of Christ and His Church.
You already know that, whatever your career choice, you’ll need education and training to accomplish your goals in life. Now, how do you decide where to go for it? Do your homework: read the websites, visit the campuses, and talk to staff, faculty, and students.
In a recent address to bishops, Pope Benedict XVI said that “providing young people with a sound education in the faith represents the most urgent internal challenge facing the Catholic community…The deposit of faith is a priceless treasure which each generation must pass on to the next by winning hearts to Jesus Christ and shaping minds in the knowledge, understanding and love of his Church.” There is a growing recognition on the part of Catholic colleges and universities, said the pope, “to reaffirm their distinctive identity in fidelity to…the Church’s mission in service of the Gospel,” because young people “have a right to encounter the faith in all its beauty, its intellectual richness and its radical demands.” (“Ad Limina Apostolorum,” 5/5/2012).

Recently, in the twilight of a spring evening, a few members of the Redeemer Pacific Chamber Choir recorded at Sts. Joachim and Ann Parish in Aldergrove, BC. The hymn "God of Mercy and Compassion" was written by Fr. Edmund Vaughan (1827-1908), a Redemptorist missionary. The choir has sung at several lower mainland parishes throughout this past year, and will be singing again this coming season. The choir will next be singing at the Governors' Annual Social Event this summer.
